AMEC (Advanced Maritime Engineering Conference)

Ships have been built and operated by the corporation of the four technical groups to perform : Naval architects who built safe and high-performance ships, Marine engine engineers who built high power marine engines to move a huge ship body, Navigators who operate a ship in safety in the actual seas and Ocean environmental engineers who grasp the ocean information.

PAAMES was founded for the object of promoting science and technology in maritime engineering throughout the maritime societies in the Pan Asian region in 2002 in Kobe, Japan. The 1st PAAMES meeting was held in 2004 in Shanghai in conjunction with the New-S Tech Conference, and the name of the New-S Tech Conference was changed to Advanced Maritime Engineering Conference (AMEC) in order to widen the scope and strengthen the link with PAAMES.
